Distant Jungle

Trying to Re-imagine an alien Jungle to my taste.
Imagining a complex ecosystem with life that is neither plant or animal but something in between. a living entity drawing nutrients like a plants but is conscious like an animal.
Bringing real jungle elements in to root it in what we perceive as realistic. I could totally see the Predators hunting here.
About 80 tries. 20 Layers of compositing and a ton of paint-over.
