A few hundred years had gone by since humans had wiped them selves out in pandemics, wars and subsequently famines as biodiversity declined. Our explorer had been a part of a group of scientists whom had discovered the radio signals we had first sent out and they set out to find us. Sadly it was too late.
Our explorer now wanders our cities, homes and our playgrounds wondering who we were and why we did this to our selves.
